Design-to-Production Process
These illustrations outline the complete new-product workflow for cast poly-resin products with a natural sandstone-look finish (mould-formed). Products with an existing production mould skip master-model development and mould making, beginning with casting at Stage 03.
Design-to-Production Process
New designs follow all seven stages. Products with an existing production mould begin at Stage 03. Images are process illustrations.
3D Modelling or Sculpting
For new designs, create a 3D-printed or hand-sculpted master model.
Production Mould Making
After design approval, make a separate production mould from the approved master.
Casting & Demoulding
Cast the material in the production mould, cure it and release each section.
Assembly & Repair
Join the moulded sections, repair seams and refine the assembled product.
Testing
Check assembly, stability and the intended functional or visual effect.
Coloring
Apply the specified sandstone-look color and surface finish by hand.
Packaging
Pack the finished product.
Model-Based Specifications
Each product record includes its model, dimensions, CBM and carton quantity.
